Heritage High Football Team Congratulated at Capitol by Rep. Joe Rice

The Heritage High School Eagles Football Team was presented with an Official Tribute by the Colorado General Assembly on February 3rd, 2010.   Joe greeted, recognized, and personally introduced the team on the floor of the House of Representatives.

“I’m excited this morning to bring forward a Tribute to honor the Heritage High School football team for winning the Colorado 4A State Football Championship,” said Joe. “I’m honored to recognize this fine group of young men along with their coaches and families and congratulate them on their excellence both on and off the field.”

The Heritage Eagles have also been recognized by the entire Littleton Community for winning their first football state title. Their coach, Mike Griebel, was named High School Coach of the Year by the Denver Broncos. Many of the HHS players were named to All-State and All-Conference honors.
